No matter if you have to attend an interview in your home country or in another country, it always confuses you. It's normal to feel anxious or start questioning your ability and performance.
The Japanese language isn't easy to learn. When you think of delivering all the answers in this language, it's the point where you have some self-doubts.
Well, good news is that the Japanese know how you feel. They are aware of your situation. Don't fret but follow my 8 tips to Ace a job interview in Japan.

Learn about Behavior and Manners
Japanese pay too much attention to a candidate's behavior. You need to sound humble and passionate at the same time. Keep arrogance and attitude at home when you leave for an interview in Japan.
Whoever you meet on your way to the office, smile and say hello. You don't know who is observing you around and besides, good manners help you stick with company for a long time.
You can't handshake a recruiter unless he/she invites you to do so. It's important not to embrace yourself.
My suggestion is to watch some videos. Tons of Tutorials of Japan interviews are available on Youtube. Get guidelines from them.

Mock up Interview
Do you have a Japanese friend? If yes, plan a demo interview with him. Don't have one? No issue, get help from the bartender, community around you. Japanese are friendly people and they won't mind helping you in this regard.
3.Prepare a Good Monologue
Japanese give due attention to the opening lines of your introduction. That means you need to prepare an amazing monologue. Consider yourself standing on stage where you need to tie your audience with the magic of your words.
4.Prepare Answers
You need to prepare answers for the Common Job interview in Japan. Be ready to provide answers of some personal questions. They don't go too personal but maybe they ask about your family and dependents. They can ask about your hobby, your opinions about news, career goals, etc.
They will go deep in your behavior too. So, a few questions will be related to your behavior like how you deal with difficult clients, or how you handle a problem, etc. They can test your skills via varied questions.
5. Research About Company
They will ask you why they should hire you or why this job. When it comes to the best answer, it shouldn't be general. You need to add some input from your research. Companies might be known for some reasons, talk about those reasons. Also, gather some knowledge of the company's best product/services or what they plan to offer next. You can talk about it in your interview and it's how you keep them engaged.
